Ty's Bio:
Ty started playing the guitar (an old Stella) at 12 years old. He began singing Dylan covers to his own guitar playing a couple of years later. When he was 14 he won a (small Harmony) guitar on a movie theater ticket stub and began writing songs at age 17; began recording in the 70's and moved to Nashville, TN in Nov. 2007 to pursue a career in the music business full time. From 2008 - 2016 Ty hosted Singer-Songwriter shows in Nashville at various venues, including Hall of Fame Lounge, Norm's River Roadhouse, Matty's Alley, The French Quarter Cafe, Richards Cajun Cafe, The Flatrock Cafe, the Maxwell House Hotel, "Picks" (the legendary Hall of Fame Lounge near Music Row), the Hotel Indigo on Union St., MadDonna's Loft in E. Nashville, Ugly Mugs Coffee in E. Nashville and Kimbro's in Franklin, TN. From Dec. 2010 to 06/22/15 Ty hosted a weekly radio show on Radio Free Nashville. Ty has had independent cuts by other artists. Ty was formerly an ASCAP writer and registered publisher under "Ty Tunes". These days Ty focuses on songwriting, recording, and getting his songs placed on radio or film or TV.
